Hi Everyone,

So far we have a WIP patch for this issue. Andrew and myself discussed
the layout etc for the site yesterday and from that conversation this
issue arose again regarding the docs/ directory sitting in our trunk
code... (here we go again ;)) The last conversation we had on the old
gora-dev list can be seen here [0], where Enis clearly explains
reasoning behind the current setup for the release
dependent/independent documentation setup.

One thing which strikes me which has not come to fruition is that we
are not currently keeping track of release dependent documentation,
e.g. there exists no /docs/r0.1-incubating, /docs/r0.1.1-incubating
and /docs/r0.2 directories associated with the three releases which to
me indicates that it has become a tradition somewhat for us to either
forget about this when doing releases, or of course just accept that
this setup is not quite working as we wish it would!

Additionally, where there was previously an argument put forward that
users should be able to build and use the release dependent docs
wherever they are, as they are distributed with this source's, when we
migrate to markdown this will not be possible...

I suppose that I'm testing the water here for any support towards
moving the docs directory out of trunk code, as part of the above
issue?

What's the general vibe about this? It seems that we have some
reasonable agreement to utilise bootstrap as the site design. So it's
a case of narrowing down these other issues before progressing to the
solution.

Thanks

Lewis
