I tried GORA-140-v4.patch, and it works well.
For the logging libraries, slf4j-jdk14-1.5.8.jar can be removed.
Actually, Cassandra distribution contains slf4j-api, slf4j-log4j12, and log4j
(but not slf4j-jdk14).
We may choose either slf4j-jdk14 or slf4j-log4j + log4j for logging
implementation,
but it seems that most of people (projects) prefer log4j rather than JDK
logging API.
