+1 to disable gora-cassandra test for now until we find a solution.
I will test with Cassandra 1.0.x.

As of writing there are ~27 issues to be fixed for Cassandra 1.1.3.
Therefore we can either
1) Wait until this has been released then upgrade but until then
disable the Cassandra tests.
2) Downgrade Cassandra deps to a less cutting edge Cassandra dist?
