Lewis John McGibbney commented on GORA-206:
-------------------------------------------
I assume (but have not confirmed yet) that the additions made in this issue to
GoraCompiler e.g. the introduction of the lookForUnionSchema(Schema pSchema)
method breaks the mapping of complex data types at level 0 e.g. MAP and ARRAY
as well as nested RECORDS at the same level. We need to sort this, I am keen to
help as I understand the problem but I do not know what code we can use to
resolve it.
@Renato, can you please talk us through the additions (over and above Alfonso's
changes) to Gora compiler? Are these Cassandra specific?
All the remaining code looks excellent but I am unable to fully test as I
cannot compile avro schemas map my data correctly to Cassandra.

> The necessary features should be added to confirm that we are able to support
> Avro Union data types.
> This referes specifically to null-single-type unions. We will open another
> issue to address the multi-type unions.
