As per the mailing list discussion on this topic [0] and the numerous
discussions Renato and myself have had with others off-list, I'm opening this
issue to track our intention to implement the pluggable client architecture for
gora-cassandra.
Renato began work (and is making excellent progress) on this very recently. The
progress can be tracked at his Gora fork [1].
We are both presenting this work and initiative at the forthcoming
CassandraSummit2013 [2]
