required to look in to this... it is great for the 94 branch and of course for
moving this issue to a close :)
I refer you to this thread [0] which I asked on user@avro regarding default:
null... I'm experimenting with making changes to default values for Dirtyable
structures like Map's and Array's but I am getting loads of NPE when I run the
JUnit tests locally. There are some bugs lingering here for sure.
After applying your new patch I am currently still getting many NPE in JUnit
tests so there is more work required. I'll keep working on this tonight and see
where I can get.
