Alfonso Nishikawa commented on GORA-357:
----------------------------------------
@[~tpalsulich]: I really appreciate your interest in this issue, thank you. In
fact, I have been asking myselft why tests were not failing when they were
failing in {{target/surefire-reports/}}, and you pointed the reason ;). You are
right when you say it is wrong to ignore failed tests by default. I am taking a
look at that avro test error and I will open an issue (I think no one exists
for that error).
> Maven Surefire testFailureIgnore is true

> The root pom.xml file has the following line:
> {{<testFailureIgnore>true</testFailureIgnore>}}. I've noticed that some unit
> tests fail on a clean install (e.g.
> gora.avro.mapreduce.TestDataFileAvroStoreMapReduce). Is this to be expected?
