Sorry for Late reply. Nowadays I am little bit busy. We are a middleware application, We can always publish a release version, IMHO we should support latest version of our supported datastore.
BTW Hadoop 2.x is unnecessary for Nutch's Docker images. When Nutch run on local mod Actually it runs on HadoopMinicluster.
