The problem is that this Gora code is using some non public API Accumulo code.
I plan on bringing the needed functionality into Accumulo's public API for
1.8.0. Multiple projects using Accumulo need this functionality in the public
API. Personally I would inclined to make Gora work with Accumulo 1.6.X
(instead of 1.7.X) for now, as I think thats a widely used and stable version.
Could open an issue for making Gora work with 1.6.X and another issue to use
the new public API that will be in 1.8.0.
