## Description: The Apache Gora open source framework provides an in-memory data model and persistence for big data. Gora supports persisting to column stores, key value stores, document stores and RDBMSs, and analyzing the data with extensive Apache Hadoop MapReduce support.
## Issues: There are no issues requiring board attention at this time ## Activity: Community activity has revolved around GSoC (2 projects; additio module) and review of these projects. A significant degree of high quality code has resulted from these efforts and we will be VOTE'ing on a 0.8 RC shortly. ## Health report: The Gora community remains healthy. We will be looking to add to our PMC roster shortly.
