Utlimately, you are correct. This was just a first pass at getting things to work. I actually ran into quite a bit of difficulty getting things to run properly. So this was a temporary solution. This is just to get some feedback for now.

My reasoning here is that I want to be able to remove and replace my Gradle installation and I don't want to remember to have to reinstall the GradleUI every time. I wonder if taking the groovy starter script as a basis for a gradleui script is a bad idea?
