Did you notice the :-P emoticon?

I have for quite a while been giving Ben grief about Codehaus supporting
Bazaar -- and in preference to Git.  Ben et al. decided to go for Git;
though they might contemplate supporting Bazaar as well.

I prefer the Bazaar model to the Git model, but Git is what Codehaus
support officially.

Of course, due to bzr-svn, Codehaus also supports Bazaar very happily
(though they may not really appreciate this). Uniquely amongst DVCSs,
Bazaar can store branches in a Subversion store and so by supporting
Subversion, you automatically support Bazaar -- the branches in a
Subversion repository can be peers in a Bazaar branch network. Git
cannot do this.

There seems to have been an inexorable move towards Git for Gradle,
Grails and Groovy. Gant will however remain steadfastly Bazaar ;-)
