I wonder if there is an alternative to actually storing the gradlew files in a project in order to use Gradle in a context where it is not installed. I guess what I would like to do is have a shell script that downloads Gradle rather than one that invokes Java to download one -- though I guess it could download Gradlew and just have an extra stage.
Or am I wandering down a dead-end alley?
