Groovy 1.6.x uses ASM 2, where Groovy 1.7.x uses ASM 3. I thought one
of the whole points of using groovy-all was that the version of ASM used
internally by Groovy was then hidden. This then allows application to
choose a different version of ASM for the application -- which is
exactly what is wanted here. A priori I don't believe using groovy-all
can cause ASM version problems. What was the problem you were seeing?

So I'm afraid I am still of the view that using groovy-all is right and
using groovy and manually pulling in ASM, Antlr and CommonsCLI is not
right.
