maybe you've noticed that I worked (a bit) on gradle support for eclipse.
I've started this project to learn more about both (gradle & eclipse
plugin ecosystem) and even got some features working (actually based on
0.9-rc1) but I didn't find the time in the last months I would like to
spend on this and I'm unsatisfied about the progress. Today I've noticed,
that the STS team has an issue about supporting gradle in eclipse. I would
love to see the STS Team working on that. They have the manpower for a
deep integration of gradle in eclipse. At the moment the eclipse-plugin
(http://github.com/gradle/eclipse-plugin) is just a one man show and I've
spending my weekends and nights for that. I encourage you to vote for the
gradle support issue at the STS issue tracker at
https://issuetracker.springsource.com/browse/STS-1314
Event though many guys of you are working with IDEA, I think a wide range
of IDEs with deep gradle support are another argument for gradle in
companies and in the enterprise. I had lot of discussions in my company
(prefering Eclipse -> I'm not the one to blame).
So pls vote!
