Personally I find that old documentation generally comes before new documentation in Google searches because the algorithm favours age of presence and hits and does not factor in project version number. I find this awfully horrible and frustrating. Any SEO that can be applied to Gradle websites to ensure the most up to date documentation always comes higher up the Google search results, the better. I'd hypothesize that moving older documentation (so as to change the URL) when new documentation is released would help, but I am not an SEO expert. -- Russel. ============================================================================= Dr Russel Winder t: +44 20 7585 2200 voip: sip:[email protected] 41 Buckmaster Road m: +44 7770 465 077 xmpp: [email protected] London SW11 1EN, UK w: www.russel.org.uk skype: russel_winder
