On a related topic, I think it might be worthwhile removing references
to gradle 0.7 (and probably 0.8) from the cookbook:

They make it look more complicated for newcomers to the topic and it's
probably a common landing place for beginners. I can't imagine people
looking for cookbook recipes will be on anything other than 0.9.
There are even some links to 0.6 functionality in there.
