Hey guys, We're thinking about removing the 'experimental' warning from the daemon. We might do it conditionally, depending on the OS (daemon plays better with the linux family). Daemon mode will still remain option for some time, so no change in that respect.
We want to remove the warning because we're actively working on fixing the bugs and we would like users to consider the daemon mode more seriously (e.g. to report misbehavior eagerly, etc.). Another reason is that the warning looks awkward in certain situations (e.g. IDE plugins & tooling api). Thoughts? -- Szczepan Faber Principal engineer@gradleware Lead@mockito
