I was not aware of an offline command line option, in fact I have just checked the latest docco http://gradle.org/docs/current/userguide/gradle_command_line.html and there is no mention of it. What is the use case for it?
Also I have not had to run such a configuration for 6 months (Milestone 3) as I have changed contracts and had to use Maven again :-( In light of the fact that I would seem to be the only one to have been running such a setup, I would have to revisit my previous requirements to see if they are still valid.
