BTW, we recently added some performance test coverage for Eclipse and IDEA 
import, that checks for execution time and heap consumption regressions. It 
doesn't cover the 'missing module' case, but could at some point.

The tests currently use maven central for http coverage. At some point it would 
be good to switch to using our http server test fixture, so we can introduce 
some artificial (but consistent) download latency to better cover cases like 
this.
