* RC2 - micronaut support - micronaut is working via the grails-micronaut plugin - plugin is experimental due to the lack of test coverage in grails-core for micronaut - users are encouraged to test and report issues * RC2 - status - contains breaking changes due to micronaut updates - builds are being staged for grails-github-actions, grails-publish, grails-core, grails-spring-security, grails-redis, & grails-quartz - votes will occur in the coming day - list of tickets for grails-core: https://github.com/orgs/apache/projects/487/views/2?sliceBy%5Bvalue%5D=grails%3A7.0.0-RC2 * 7.0.0 - status - list of tickets for 7.0.0: https://github.com/orgs/apache/projects/487/views/2?sliceBy%5Bvalue%5D=grails%3A7.0.0 - not all of these tickets will be done, most are lower priority items that have been pushed from each milestone - we think 7.0.0 will come out by the end of Sept, assuming no new reported issues that require a breaking change * Need to update plugins for Grails 7 - James D plans to update docs in Sept for best plugin practices - will encompass what we learned as we've updated various plugins.
