A tool is to be designed and implemented that helps the user to easily create OrgCharts. It would be possible to write an external component e.g. in Java to layout the org chart or to fill in the appropriate values and to finally create the necessary elements via API in OpenOffice
Having read the above item in the todo list, I felt that I would be able to help in the devlopment of such a component.
However, I work mainly in Delphi, using Object Pascal and I was wondering whether it would be possible to submit a file written in this format.
As I am new to OpenOffice.org i may need further guidance as to what particular features will be required and what the overall look should achieve, however, provided with suitalbe designs, I feel a could contribute effectively to this task.
