No only graphics yet but you can do that with a calc by selecting calc
and choose menu file->export and check "only selection".
Yes, but only pdf-export is supported. To save as a picture, you have to
copy the chart into a new draw-document and use the export feature of
the draw-module.
Oh I think you refer to the writer application. I added this comunity
patch only for the impress and draw application. But would make sense
for writer to also have such thing, as this is requested very often.
