Hi Lei Shi,

when you go to the notes view, you see the actual notes page.
When you go to the handout page, you always see the handout master.
If I understand you correct, you wonder why on the handout page you
see "<date/time>" and not something like "06/06/07" like on the notes
view. Now if you go to "View->Master->Notes Master" you will see
the notes master and there you also see "<date/time>.

On the master pages you will only see the placeholders for the header&
footer elements, thats what you also see on the handout master. What
you can never see inside the office are the actual handout slides. You
only will see the handout master. This is because the handout slides
will be created on the fly when you print them.

I just followed your steps and printer the handouts and the
header&footer are printed as expected. So your observation is not
a bug.
