Hello,
this is about issue 72994
http://www.openoffice.org/issues/show_bug.cgi?id=72994
I've written a function to convert Excel's elevation/rotation settings
to OOo's rotation angles (is attached to the issue). But now I'm at a
loss and cannot test it.
I found the struct XclChChart3d in xlchart.cxx. It seems to be designed
to hold elevation and rotation values from the Excel chart. It is used
in XclImpChChart3d::ReadChChart3d in xichart.cxx when reading the actual
values.
Then I found in ThreeDHelper.cxx the method
ThreeDHelper::setRotationAngleToDiagram. It is used to apply the angles,
which the user enters in the 3D view dialog or by dragging with the
mouse, to the diagram. I thought perhaps this can be used too, when
importing a chart.
But I do not know how and where to bring that pieces together. Is it
easy enough that some hints will help?
The methods are not exported from the chart module, so they can't be
used in the calc module. Thus there is no easy way to put the peaces
together, I am sorry. But thanks for your offer!
Kind regards,
Ingrid
Otherwise I'm sorry to cannot
help further.
kind regards
Regina
