Hi Holger,
unfortunately we had some problems with the feature sourounding the new
slideshow api. We are still working
with the QA people to get this polished so it can be integrated. But we
missed the 2.4 deadline already so
it will not be part of it. Hopefully it will be available in public
developer builds in a few weeks.
Regards,
Christian

Hi all,
I'm currently working towards a new release of a java extension which
allows to use Impress for flashcard creation and learning. To do so I
would like to show slides in full-screen mode. So far this was not
possible, because the API up to OO 2.3 did not allow arbitrary slide
transitions. According to
http://wiki.services.openoffice.org/wiki/Documentation/DevGuide/Working_with_Presentations
a new API to to such things is going to be introduced with OO.o 2.4.
Unfortunately I'm not able to find the mentioned XSlideShowController
in the java-class path of the latest 2.4 release candidates. Is it
hidden in an additional jar or was this API rescheduled to 3.0?
The release notes (
http://wiki.services.openoffice.org/wiki/New_Features_2.4#Extensions.2F_programmability_.2F_API
) mention "Remote control presentations via API". Is this the
XSlideShowController-API or something else? Where could I find some
examples for this new API?
Best regards, Holger
