Along with various posters at
http://extensions.services.openoffice.org/project/presenter-screen, I've
encountered a few bugs.
Please, everyone who finds a bug, do not rely on me reading the comments
too regularly. Please submit issues for the bugs that you find. That
would really help me to keep track of things that have to be done.
The biggest one for me, which is about to force
me to buy MS Powerpoint, is the issue with playing video (it plays on
both screens, with two soundtracks slightly out of sync).
I have just fixed this issue
(http://qa.openoffice.org/issues/show_bug.cgi?id=98806). The child work
space it is a member of should soon be ready for QA. All in all it may
take a few weeks until it finds its way into the repository.
I hope that when the new release is available in the repository, you can
switch back to OpenOffice.org :-)
Is there a timetable for further releases of this extension?
At the moment I am just fixing bugs. New releases are independent of
the OOo release cycle. When new issues are submitted and I find the
time to fix them then, eventually, there will be a new release.
