Hi Kami,
you can use almost any UI feature by dispatching the slot yourself. You
just select your
new Barcode shape at the view and then dispatch the slot for converting
to GDI-Metafile.
You find the description about dispatchers in the Developers Cookbook.
The slot you
find in the xml description for the draw menu.
