This request is related to the issues
- 92516 (Change printing model in OOo applications)
- 105655 (printing files with FontWork very slowwww)
- 108267 (slide sorter horrible slow - eating all system resources)
(and maybe more).
How much I appreciate the nice anti-aliasing, sometimes it is very nasty
for just doing your work.
With issue 105655, the performance with printing has improved clearly,
but still takes quite some time (try attachment from desc3:

Now with the nice new printing functionality, and the preview, staring
the printer dialog takes very long ..
Also, slide sorting is a drag, when anti-aliasing is active.
An idea that could make both situations considerably better:
do not use anti-aliasing for the preview in the print dialog for all
modules and for the previews shown in the slide sorter and slide pane in
Impress.
Is that achievable?
