Dear developers of the Open Office Presenter Screen,
I am writing to you, because I have a problem running my Sun Presenter
Console. (First of all I hope that this is technically the same as what
is described as "Presenter Screen" on
http://wiki.services.openoffice.org/wiki/Presenter_Screen#Team_and_Contact.)
Problem:
I try to start the console in a way that it is shown on my notebooks
display (primary monitor) and the slides are shown with a beamer. So I
set monitor 2 as presentation monitor in the preferences. When I start
the presentation now, the console is correctly displayed on my notebook,
but the beamer shows a white screen only.
Am I probably doing an error in the settings?
To specify the problem a little bit better I tried out some alternative
settings with two monitors:
- When I set monitor 1 as presentation monitor, everything is showing
up as expected: The slides on the notebook and the console on the
beamer. (I just want it the other way round!)
- Runnig PowerPoint with the slides only on the beamer is no problem.
- I also tried different picture resolution settings in the display
preferences, but this did not make any changes to my problem.
Technical environment:
- Windows XP, SP3
- Open Office 3.2.1
- Sun Presenter Console 1.0.3
- Graphic card: Trident Video Accelerator Cyber-XP4 v6.4823-123.22_1
I would be very pleased if you could give me a hint how to overcome my
problem.
