Hi, Thanks for pointing that out, but note that’s a fairly minor thing to vote -1 on. The directory name is different as gradlew assembleDistribution is inconsistent with the release script. Currently, the release script can’t make a point release and has a few other issues (see the recent PRs raised on this), so I'm not able to use it.
It would be good to check the more important things with the release, such as the license and notice being correct, no unexpected binaries, files having ASF headers and that it be compiled from the source. [1] Kind Regards, Justin 1. https://www.apache.org/legal/release-policy.html#artifacts
