* incubating in name * no unexpected binaries in distribution * LICENSE, NOTICE, DISCLAIMER files exist and appear correct * checked signatures and checksums (manually and see below) * bootstrapped gradlew (manually with minor glitch and see below) - gradle-bootstrap was missing the empty settings file, so was failing with "Build cache controller already set" but worked fine after that was added * checked rat (manually and see below; must be done before next step) * Ditto to previous votes with respect to LICENSE and NOTICE mentioned in your rat excludes * I locally (macOS) ran "etc/bin/verify.sh v4.0.0-M3" and verification passed Cheers, Paul.
