Hi, I looked into this issue and tried to locate the “omitting parentheses” documentation within the current groovy-website repository. It appears that since this issue was opened (2019), the Groovy documentation structure has changed significantly. The user-facing language syntax documentation (including command expressions / omitting parentheses examples) is no longer maintained directly in this repository, but is now generated and published under https://docs.groovy-lang.org/. I could not find an existing section in this repo that currently documents omitting parentheses (e.g. println-style examples) where this enhancement could be applied cleanly. I believe this issue may now be outdated and would be better addressed by updating the generated Groovy language documentation instead, or by migrating this issue to the appropriate documentation source.
