Hi, I have been interested in parallel computing for many years, first in occam, then Java using the JCSP library to create Hoare type communicating sequential processes. I have created a set of Groovy helper classes to make the use of the JCSP library much simpler and written a number of supporting texts. Recently I have been working on a builder that enables relatively simple use of a network of PCs to undertake HPC style processing, by parallelising an existing sequential code. I also have a student working with CUDA and became aware of the JCUDA library. This is a pain to use , by the looks of it and would seem to be something that could be Groovied with benefit for many users. Is anyone working on a Groovy interface to CUDA? If so what progress has been made, if not does it seem a sensible thing to do?
