We certainly can merge those onto the 2_4_X branch. I was planning to wait and see if there was any demand. While they are "bug fixes", they will impact IDE support. IntelliJ for instance gives errors for each of the spread-map within the "Class index" constructor shorthands, even the one variant which used to work before the bugfix!
I imagine but don't have any hard proof that it will make life slightly easier for tool writers to add/alter support for the enabled functionality on a major release boundary. Because I have no proof, if someone needs the feature we should go ahead and add it. Also, two of the issues have @TypeChecked knock-on issues raised. Ideally it would be good for the dynamic and static features to both be enabled in one go if we can. But not a show stopper. Cheers, Paul. On 2/06/2015 3:57 PM, Pascal Schumacher wrote:
Hi Paul, I'm wondering why these fixes are only in head (2.5) and not in the 2.4 bugfix branch? -Pascal
