thank you for your interest in the Summer of code competition.
Writing a facility to create flash format is definitively a good idea.
However I believe it's more suitable to create it as an export filter
pretty much the same way as the PDF export in OpenOffice.org 1.1 and
higher. I'd recommend to discuss this idea with Kai Ahrens, as he is
mentoring the ideas in the area of gsl. I believe there had been
projects dealing with flash in the past and he knows more about that.
Furtheron I don't know wether Google accepts additional projects.
