Hi Torsten,
thank you for the feedback.

help in this area is greatly appreciated - apart from that, are you
aware of pstoedit (http://www.pstoedit.net/), which AFAICT does a
similar thing?
Yes, that's what I've used actually. pstoedit.pro in combination with
ghostscript + a call to makeedit, just like the original pstoedit-script.
For 2.0.2, Caolan put some initial tooling for that into OOo, see also
issue 9290 (http://www.openoffice.org/issues/show_bug.cgi?id=9290)
Ok, thank you for pointing me to this issue. But it only does adding
preview image to the eps, right? Converting into the OOo-own metafile
would be much better, as it even would be editable. Isn'it?
In the ToDo was something about a "metafile". I assume it is a
gfx-metafile format? Where can I found infos about the format and
tags of this metafile?
Use the source, Luke. ;-)
(which would be vcl/inc/metaact.hxx and vcl/source/gdi/metaact.cxx, in
this case).
Thank you very much. I'll start tomorrow and report back, when I've got
a fig file imported.
Regards
Henk
