Hi,

I'm about to rewrite the current font rendering engine in the OS/2 
port. The current engine is a fast hack of older code, just to get some
text displayed using only codepage 437.

I see that windows code implements some more things, like fallback and
other.

Is there some docs about how to code the rendering engine?

my idea is to write it from scratch, maybe getting some of old
functions, but implementing a new engine.

I can follow win32 code, but code doesn't tell me why things are done
in such a way :-(

BTW the font rendering (and clipboard support) is the last thing
missing from OS/2 port, then it will be considered feature complete.
