gsl is not enough to build alone, since it builds on the layers below
gsl. I'm afraid the only real way to build gsl is to build OOo as a
whole. You can find general build instructions on our web site as well
as in the wiki. Please have a look at
http://development.openoffice.org/#SOURCECODE
as a starting point.
