The project does provide Docker images. Beyond that, we do not provide an
install script or packages because these are really downstream concerns.
For projects in general, not just Guacamole, rather than take on 100% of
all project-related work upstream, it makes sense for a project to focus on
producing and releasing stable source and docs, while downstream
distributions and their surrounding communities focus on downstream
packaging.

If you're encountering issues getting things to work, just open a thread on
the mailing lists. We should be able to help and/or improve the docs.
Alternatively, if you're looking for packages for your distribution of
choice, you could look into ways to pitch in with that downstream
packaging, keep it up-to-date with upstream releases, etc., thus scratching
your itch while helping others.
