If the version of libvncserver you're using when you build guacd supports a VNC server, then Guacamole should generally support it. That said, there are some options specific to UltraVNC that may not work properly with Guacamole (because they do not work with libvncserver). In particular, I believe UltraVNC has some authentication and/or encryption extensions that are not standard to the RFB protocol and thus not supported by libvncserver and Guacamole. -Nick
