To whom it may concern,
Hi my name is Tony Hooker and I work for a Juniper training
partner that uses Guacamole to grant students access to classroom environments
remotely. This program has been a godsend that has removed the need for
administering many Windows or Linux Desktop environments in my Data Center.
Once we discovered Guacamole it has been our goal to completely remove any need
to house a virtual desktop environment, but there are a few things that prevent
us from migrating 100% onto Guacamole.

1. The need to installed software based network monitoring tools and VPN
clients. – This is kinda the nature of the beast and will have to be worked
with.

2. The ability to access a network devices GUI from the configured
management address. – This is the one Im really curious about.

It made me curious if there were plans to add the ability to create HTTP or
HTTPS session into user profiles, or just have the ability to have a Guacamole
address bar that you would use to connect to IP’s or DNS entries within the
same private network as the Guacamole server? Or maybe is it something I’m
missing from the directions on the website I that I’m overlooking?

Thanks for the work you all have put into this project, it really is something
innovative that was needed in our ever changing technological environment.

I hope to hear back.

Thanks,
Tony Hooker
