Hi Yuri,

You cannot do this without an extension; browsers simply do not
provide that kind of access to the clipboard. Though the code of the
extension is JavaScript, it only works because it runs within the
context of Chrome's extension system, where clipboard access is not
restricted.

Guacamole being what it is, we're fundamentally against using browser
extensions for features where there is any non-extension alternative.
Believe me, if this were possible without an extension, there would be
no extension. The Guacamole side of clipboard support is written such
that, if browsers ever do provide their own means of explicitly
granting clipboard access, things will just work. Until that time,
only an extension can provide such access.
