Hi Mike,

first, I would start with the evaluation check list. It's not formally needed but it's a good indicator for the IPMC about the clear state of the project. This checklist can be done on the wiki or on a document/page on the website.

Then you can prepare a resolution draft, that we can discuss and review before the formal vote to the IPMC.

For the mentors, they become PMC members. For the PMC Chair, it's part of the resolution draft. I would propose you as PMC Chair.

I can help in this process, please let me know.

Regards
JB

Hello all,

I would like to move forward with the initial community vote for
graduation to TLP, but I'm somewhat lost regarding process. The fact
that the vote itself needs to occur is clear enough, however:

Do we need to create the draft resolution first, prior to calling the
community vote? If so: (1) What becomes of the mentors? Members of the
new TLP PMC, I presume? (2) We will need to choose a VP.

What about the maturity evaluation checklist? If that needs to be done
first, the ASF's Confluence instance seems a popular place for that.

Thanks,

- Mike
