Hi all, I'm Deepak Jain (JIRA user "Deepak Jain (DJ)", GitHub deepujain), contributing to Hadoop across Common, HDFS, YARN, and MapReduce.
I have open PRs against trunk linked to issues in the YARN, MAPREDUCE, and HDFS JIRA projects: - YARN-11851 → PR #8389 - MAPREDUCE-7486 → PR #8388 - HDFS-17872 → PR #8335 - HDFS-17850 → PR #8334 - HDFS-17179 → PR #8310 I'd like to self-assign these issues while I'm working on them, but my JIRA account doesn't have "Assignable User" permission in those three projects — the "Assign to me" control doesn't appear for me there (it works fine in the HADOOP project). I tried assigning them directly and JIRA doesn't allow it. Could someone with project-admin rights grant my account assignable-user permission in the YARN, MAPREDUCE, and HDFS projects, or point me to the right process?
