Hi, all,

I've noticed that DRLVM, when throws ClassCastException, provides
completely no detail about what were the class being cast and the target
for the cast. This makes localizing problems in applications more
difficult.

Note that RI provides information on the class being cast, and IBM VME
provides information on the cast target also.

It seems to me that this situation should better be corrected (to follow
either IBM VME pattern or at least RI pattern), to improve DRLVM
usability.
Anybody (dis)agree?

I filed HARMONY-4515 for this issue.
