[drlvm][opt] what does 'irBuilderFlags.expandMemAddrs' mean?

Hi all
I found this flag is frequently used when generating 'Store' related
instruction.
if it is set, makeMultiSrcInst is used, otherwise makeFieldAccessInst is
used, is that right? and Why is that?
