The HAWQ "Download <http://hawq.incubator.apache.org/#download>" section is now live. Instead of simply pointing the top-level Download link to the apache download page, we utilized the "Download" section in the original design (previously commented out).
@goden - Roman pointed out the mirror sites may not mirror the PGP, MD5 and SHA1 values. There is a note on the mirror page (below) which instructs us to point the links to a specific location *BACKUP SITES* Please use the backup mirrors only to download PGP and MD5 signatures to verify your downloads or if no other mirrors are working. http://www-eu.apache.org/dist/incubator/hawq/2.0.0.0-incubating -=e On Mon, Oct 10, 2016 at 5:54 PM, Goden Yao <[email protected]> wrote: > the linked download location doesn't seem to include md5 and other > signatures etc. > @Roman - do you know if these are supposed to be included? > > On Mon, Oct 10, 2016 at 4:44 PM Chloe Jackson <[email protected]> wrote: > > > Hi, > > > > > > > > Pull request submitted to add downloads link > > > > <http://apache.org/dyn/closer.cgi/incubator/hawq/2.0.0.0-incubating> to > > > > menu: https://github.com/apache/incubator-hawq-site/pull/8 > > > > > > > > -Chloe > > > > > > > > > > > > > > > > > > ---------- Forwarded message ---------- > > > > > From: Goden Yao <[email protected]> > > > > > Date: Mon, Oct 10, 2016 at 10:02 PM > > > > > Subject: Need website update to add release section > > > > > To: "[email protected]" <[email protected]> > > > > > > > > > > > > > > > Hi, > > > > > > > > > > We've just released 2.0.0.0-incubating. > > > > > It's time to add a section on the website to list the release download > > > > > links: > > > > > > > > > > http://hawq.apache.org > > > > > > > > > > I'd like to have a [Release] tab on the top navigation menu and have > > > > > download links there. > > > > > Any other suggestions? > > > > > > > > > > Anyone might be able to design and develop the HTML page? > > > > > Please volunteer :) > > > > > > > > > > -Goden > > > > > > > > > > -- *Ed Espino* *[email protected] <[email protected]>*
