Hi, I am in process of building HAWQ. As seen from documentation a note says : Before initializing HAWQ, you need to install HDFS and make sure it works: ( https://cwiki.apache.org/confluence/display/HAWQ/Build+and+Install ) I have a query whether hdfs processes should be running on the same VM where HAWQ is being initialized? Or can we have hdfs running on a different machine ?
Have just started learning HAWQ, so any pointers would be very helpful.
