https://github.com/apache/hbase/blob/trunk/src/main/java/org/apache/hadoop/hbase/avro/hbase.genavro it is empty right now. We also should have example clients, possible simply porting the Thrift DemoClient over - then you can try either without having to grok another example setup. Lars
